Czech Development Agency Supports Project for Mapping and Remediation of Environmental Burdens in War-Affected Dnipropetrovsk Region

The non-governmental organization Arnika, with financial support from the Czech Development Agency (CzDA), is launching another phase of mapping and remediation of environmental burdens in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, together with Ukrainian partners. The region has long suffered from heavy industrial pollution and, since the start of Russian aggression, also from the war itself. The international survey will focus on forty additional high-risk sites, helping both local residents to avoid danger and authorities to plan for post-war recovery.

Kampong Chhnang Water Plant Handover: A Czech-Cambodian Partnership Milestone

A team of doctors and neonatology experts has completed another successful mission as part of the Czech Perinatology Hands Fly to Cambodia project.

The project was announced by the Czech Development Agency in 2021 as a follow-up project to the one that ended in 2019. The project was successfully obtained by the Vita et Futura Foundation, which oversaw the entire planning, preparation, and implementation, including the selection of experts who participated in the project. In the first half of January, a large team directly conducted an extensive multidisciplinary program for the education of obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, midwives, and pediatric nurses in Cambodia. On March 21 Cambodian delegation visited Czech Republic including main office of the Czech Development Agency.
