The Czech Development Agency (CzechAid) announces small-scale procurement procedure „Supply and Delivery of Laptops for the SLIM Project“
This public contract will be implemented under the SLIM (Sustainable Landscape through Integrated Management) Project, implemented by the Czech Development Agency and co-financed by the European Union and Sweden. The subject of the contract is the supply, delivery, initial setup, full-disk encryption, testing and handover of up to 66 high-performance laptops for Zambian beneficiary institutions for processing spatial, remote sensing and environmental data. The delivery comprises two categories of portable computers:
- Laptop for ArcGIS Pro (10 units, with option to buy 7 more): High-performance laptops intended for intensive GIS editing, satellite imagery processing, and complex spatial analysis (destined for DMMU, ZMD, ZARI, and MoA).
- Laptop for QGIS (25 units, with option to buy 24 more): Standard/mid-range professional laptops intended for field mapping, database interaction, operational data collection, and open-source GIS processing (destined for FD, MFNP, DMMU, ZMD, and ZARI).
All laptops must be delivered pre-configured with full-disk encryption enabled (e.g., BitLocker) and fully compliant with the minimum technical specifications listed in the tender documentation (Bill of Quantities – Annex No. 1)
The estimated value of the public contract is USD 107 580 excluding VAT.
The maximum permissible total value of the public contract is USD 119 993 excluding VAT. The project is exempt from VAT.
Tenders must be submitted in writing by the deadline for the submission of tenders in electronic form by e-mail at the Contracting Authority's e-mail address: tender@czechaid.cz. The time deadline is set to November 2nd, 2026, until 11:00 (CET).
